OpenTech Alliance Closes Acquisition of Adigma, LLC

Phoenix, AZ – OpenTech Alliance, the leading developer of innovative smart-connected technology solutions for the self storage industry, announced on April 9 formal intentions to acquire Adigma, LLC, a leading digital marketing and technology company in Lehi, UT (in the tech hub of Salt Lake City known as Silicon Slopes). The transaction closed on May 1 and the company announced the addition of a Customer Acquisition Services (CAS) department, a new line of comprehensive digital marketing and e-commerce solutions now available to OpenTech customers.

“We are very excited to add Customer Acquisition Services to our portfolio of solutions and are looking for opportunities to expand this group through additional M&A and partnerships. Interested parties can contact me directly,” said Robert A. Chiti, OpenTech Alliance CEO.

The acquisition expands OpenTech’s footprint with the addition of a Salt Lake City office, bringing a well-established pool of talent. In addition to the principals, who notably contributed to the success of industry leaders like Extra Space Storage (EXR), National Storage Affiliates (NSA), Julianne Martin and Mike Smith lend veteran leadership to the team. Martin brings over a decade of experience in branding, product marketing and digital strategy spanning Fortune 100 to startup companies through an agency environment, including 6 years with Rakuten Advertising. Smith, who spent time at EXR managing customer acquisitions, brings experience in web development and testing and market research of the emerging trends in the technology industry. He specializes in customer acquisition through pay-per-click (PPC) advertising and analytics and tracking.

“Customer Acquisition Services goes beyond basic digital marketing; at its core, it is about using data to improve your digital marketing” stated Cameron Urry, Adigma Co-Founder and COO who will continue to lead CAS in the role of OpenTech VP/Product Owner. ”Customer Acquisition Services, or CAS, employs data-backed strategies to increase transparency into your rental acquisition process to help you exceed revenue goals, maximize conversion and drive operational growth. With over 30 years of self storage marketing experience, our team will help you optimize your lifetime tenant value — no matter what stage of marketing you’re in. With a custom strategy tailored to each facility’s individual needs, you’ll have the tools and team to create customer experiences which drive new customer acquisition, increase customer loyalty and improve ROI.”

This union will also enable efficiencies and data insights that allow self storage operators to become even more competitive. OpenTech’s open technology infrastructure creates limitless capacity to help operators connect the online and offline customer experience from first-touch to final move out to uncover trends, drive profits and better operate their business.
