Self Storage Operator Implements Self-Service Convenience at All Locations
PHOENIX, Arizona – March 11th, 2009 – OpenTech Alliance, Inc., today announced that Herman & Kittle Properties, Inc. (HKP), the owners and managers of the Infinite Self Storage portfolio of 20 self storage properties in Indiana and Illinois, have purchased their 20th INSOMNIAC kiosk. Herman & Kittle Properties develop, build, and manage self storage facilities and affordable housing throughout the Midwest and South. From its headquarters in Indianapolis, the company is involved in more than 1.2M square feet of storage space and over 6,400 apartment homes in six states.
Jeff Kittle, HKP Principle explained, “We always felt offering our customers the added convenience of self-service would be a competitive advantage as well as make a positive impact on our bottom line. After using the kiosks for a year we completed a detailed analysis of the costs and benefits of the kiosks and decide to put kiosks in all of our current and future self storage facilities.”
Infinite Self Storage facilities have been using INSOMNIAC kiosks since early 2007 with proven success. They have been committed to implementing OpenTech’s Kiosk Success Guide of “best practices” and integrating self-service into the heart of their self storage operation.
“Infinite Self Storage is exactly the kind of self storage operator we had in mind when we developed the INSOMNIAC kiosk. They appreciate the value of a high-quality product and want to set themselves apart for their competition by offering a more convenient storage experience for their customers” stated Larry Rolando, Business Development Vice President for OpenTech Alliance, Inc.
