OpenTech Integrates INSOMNIAC® CIA Access Control with Syrasoft Self Storage Software

Phoenix, AZ. OpenTech Alliance, the PropTech leader in self storage, announced a new integration with Syrasoft Self Storage Software, a leading provider of self storage management software.Syrasoft Integration Simplifies Access Control Management for Self Storage Operators

The integration connects Syrasoft to INSOMNIAC CIA, OpenTech’s cloud-based access control solution for self storage facilities. The integration allows operators to enable unique features available with CIA to reduce tenant frustration and customer service costs, such as Text Me My Code or automated links to make a payment on delinquent accounts. The integration also makes it easier for operators to manage facility access through real-time account updates to automatically grant, restrict or remove tenant access based on account status.

This powerful integration helps self storage owners, operators and facility managers streamline access control at their properties. Account information is securely transmitted between the property management software and access system to facilitate critical tenant activities, including move-ins and move-outs, removing access for delinquent accounts, and updates to access following tenant payments. These activities are managed for operators through text-based self-service options that let tenants retrieve lost access codes or make payments on delinquent accounts automatically. The API integrates key account data from Syrasoft within the IoE platform to increase available insights about tenant accounts, balances and more. OpenTech SVP of Product, Jon Loftin, said of the integration with Syrasoft: “We see the value in allowing the open and free exchange of data between different systems to unlock value for operators of all sizes. The integration of Syrasoft to INSOMNIAC CIA access control will make the daily management of properties easier for countless self storage operators — which made prioritizing this partnership an easy choice.
