OpenTech Eliminates SiteLink API Fee for StorageTreasures Customers to Simplify Online Auctions
March 29, 2019 – Phoenix, AZ, OpenTech Alliance, the leading developer of innovative smart connected technology solutions for the self storage industry, announced changes to the fee structure for the integration between StorageTreasures.com and SiteLink‘s property management solution that will eliminate costs for StorageTreasures’ customers. StorageTreasures.com is managed by majority stakeholder OpenTech Alliance.
Newly merged SiteLink and storEDGE unveiled changes to the SiteLink API licensing approach – changes that give OpenTech the flexibility to allow all StorageTreasures customers to take advantage of the SiteLink API, at no extra charge. “We’ve had a strong partnership with SiteLink, and now storEDGE, since day one,” stated Chelsea Horne, Product Owner of StorageTreasures.com. “We’ve always worked with one common goal in mind – to remove barriers to our customers’ success.”

The SiteLink integration, which has maintained steady popularity since its initial launch in 2018, eliminates the need for manual input of tenant data. This reduces time required for managers to post an online auction, as well as chances for human error which could result in a wrongful lien sale. The integration will continue to be enhanced to provide additional automation for StorageTreasures customers. Future enhancements include automatic cancellation of auctions when a tenant has paid for their outstanding balance prior to the close of the auction, lien notice postings in advance of the auction, additional data analysis on debt recovery rates and more.
StorageTreasures customers were previously charged an annual fee of $199 per facility to use the import feature. OpenTech and StorageTreasures will process refunds to all customers who paid the $199 surcharge to use the integration. Accounts with multiple facilities have received refunds over $2,000.

The integration with StorageTreasures.com expands on OpenTech Alliance and SiteLink’s longtime partnership, to simplify the online auction process for self storage operators. Other SiteLink integrations with OpenTech include kiosks, call centers, tenant notification, and cloud gate access solutions.
