Chiti, President and CEO at OpenTech, has been named to the Board of Directors of the Self Storage Association (SSA), the non-profit trade organization of the self storage industry. As such, Chiti will help to support and govern more than 60,000 facilities throughout the U.S. and International self storage industry.

Chiti founded OpenTech in 2003 and is responsible for meeting profit goals of the business, daily oversight of operations, long term strategic planning, and the continued development of the company culture. He leverages his 25 years of technology and business experience to help self storage owners improve the performance of their properties. In addition, Chiti currently serves on the Board of Directors for the California Self Storage Association (CSSA). Robert is a regular presenter at both national and state self storage conferences and author of many industry related articles.
