OpenTech Alliance introduces its new Chief Operating Officer, Dan Scaman

(May 16, 2024) –Phoenix, AZ. OpenTech Alliance, the PropTech leader in self storage, is pleased to announce the appointment of Dan Scaman as the company’s new Chief Operating Officer (COO). Dan will replace Mike Connolly as COO. Mike will remain as President, and Chair of the OpenTech Board as well as be responsible for OpenTech’s international business.

Dan Scaman brings decades of experience and a deep understanding of both entrepreneurial and corporate environments to his new role. Growing up in a family business, Dan was exposed to every level of operations from a young age. His tenure at CGI further refined his expertise in managing complex contracts with major government agencies.

Since joining OpenTech Alliance in 2014 as VP of Strategic Planning and Analysis, Dan has been instrumental in several key initiatives, including the growth of the company’s call center services, the acquisition of StorageTreasures, the completion of a partnership with a major public self storage company to support the development of INSOMNIAC® CIA access control, and the company’s global expansion. Dan’s strategic vision and commitment to continuous improvement align perfectly with OpenTech’s core values.
