OpenTech and PTI Security Systems have partnered to deliver the INSOMNIAC ILock—a system that provides security and access control to your individual self-storage units 24 hours a day. The ILock is battery-powered, wireless and can be controlled remotely by the manager or by the tenant via the PTI keypad.


The INSOMNIAC ILock is designed to:

  • Automate the overlocking process
  • Allow you to control access to vacant units
  • Provide added security to every tenant’s self-storage unit (and precious belongings)

Easy Installation

The entire system, including ILock devices, can be installed without requiring access to rented units, and unit doors stay closed and locked during the installation process. This makes retrofitting a simple process. ILock system software integrates seamlessly with self-service kiosks, online rental applications and PTI StorLogix software, which is required for use.


Tenant Friendly

Tenants simply disengage their ILock by entering their personal access code at the keypad, and then reengage when leaving. Customers appreciate the ILock’s added security and find it user-friendly.
